PathwayFinder is a feature of the ReConn plugin developed by Willem Ligtenberg of Eindhoven University of Technology. This feature needs an tab delimited data file, with in the first column a gene identifier (may be various things, e.g. Ensembl ID, affymetrix probeset id etc.) and the next columns may be various kinds of numerical data. It will map the gene identifiers automatically to reactions using the Reactome database. It will then map the reactions to pathways. It will then visualize this as a tree, like File Explorer, so that the user can easily identify the pathways of interest and select them for viewing in Cytoscape.
