Title: Integration of Expression Data with Interaction Networks

Abstract:

The DomainGraph plugin comprises two main functionalities: The decomposition of a user-imported protein interaction network into their underlying domain-domain interactions, and the integration of Affymetrix Human Exon Array data for highlighting the effects of alternative splicing events.
DomainGraph supports the decomposition into domain interactions for 12 species, and provides several structure-based and predicted domain interaction datasets. When integrating exon expression data into the network, domains are highlighted if they are partly or completely missing due to alternative splicing events. Different splicing patterns as found, for example, in diverse tissues can easily be identified by using the visual analysis methods provided with the plugin.
