Install JDK7
Overview
Cytoscape is a Java application, and requires Java 6 or 7. This step describes how to install the Java Java Development Kit (JDK).
Process
To install Oracle JDK, go to the Oracle download page to download and install Java.
- Be sure to select the version that corresponds with our operating system (32-bit or 64-bit).
Note: On Mac, you will be automatically prompted to install Apple's JDK when you try to use Cytoscape or Eclipse.
