GOSlimmer is a plug-in built for Cytoscape that allows the user to interactively manipulate a Gene Ontology (GO) network to create a GO slim term set that optimally covers a gene set of interest. In addition, it provides the capability to export a gene annotation file containing only the Gene Ontology terms included in the GO slim set.
