Announce Your App
Overview
Congratulations on completing your app! Now its time to tell the world about it. This step will suggest a few strategies for announcing your app to the Cytoscape community and beyond.
Process
Email Announcements
Emails to the cytoscape-helpdesk and cytoscape-discuss lists are a great way to announce your app. Be sure to include a short description of your app, intended use and how to access your app. A nice screenshot is a great way to create interest.
Social Media
Tweet about your app, and be sure to include @cytoscape for retweets.
Blogs and Websites
- Write a blog post about your app.
- Add an announcement to your groups or departments website.
