Title: Automatic label layout Plugin
Abstract:
Cytoscape is commonly used as a network visualization tool for complex networks. However, users often experience a loss in readability once longer labels are used in the networks. I have been developing an automatic label layout plugin that users can apply to their networks in order to improve readability. In this presentation, I will demonstrate the grid layout plugin and label repositioning plugin that I have completed thus far in preparation for the development of the automatic label plugin. I will also discuss the ideas I currently have for my label layout algorithm.
